Out-of-the-Box Simplicity Ahead for Light Commercial

What if deploying an HVAC system was a plug-and-play matter? Equipment makers (OEMs) are moving toward that vision, embedding tags, control knowledge and optimization strategies for their product in the factory. When equipment like VRF systems, AHUs and FCUs can self-identify and self-optimize upon connection to a central building services network, the jobs of provisioning and commissioning an HVAC system will be much easier, and more buildings will be brought under centralized energy management reaping big savings in money and carbon output. This panel will bring together major OEMs who have partnered with Tridium to make Niagara the operating system of such central building networks—both for smaller VRF-equipped buildings as well as for large campuses served by central plants.
