TECH TRENDS

Charlotte Convention Center - Room E219AB

Apr 06 - Apr 06, 2022 / 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Digital building data is just beginning its useful life once it is aggregated, normalized, redistributed and secured within a Niagara platform. During the session, we will overview the MSI's involvement from the very beginning of a project to qualify data requirements. Presenters will explore how data models are key to unifying different systems and services from both the OT and IT worlds. Presenters will walk through the creation of common references such as a BIM model used in the deployment of a maintenance (CMMS)application. You will learn about how this model works with workplace app's and how it evolves with the help of data scientists with expertise in machine-learning and deep analytics. New advances in mixed-reality technology will also be explored in this session. AR/VR takes Niagara data to the next level, where BIM-type 3D models incorporating BAS and HVAC data are overlayed on top of live camera footage, creating a fully connected experience between the two worlds.
