The JSON Toolkit provides JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) encoding of Niagara data - enabling new methods of visualization, cloud, and device connectivity. Many APIs written to enable Internet of Things workflows use JSON encoded messaging. The JSON Toolkit extends Niagara Framework’s rich object model by encoding Niagara data types such as point, alarm, and history data into JSON format, opening new possibilities for connectivity and extracting value from the Niagara Framework. You can encode messages into JSON format for export, and you can interpret or read incoming messages.

Product Manager Michael Smith, Lead Software Engineer Blake Puhak, and Software Engineers Nick Dodd and Jason Woollard provide an in-depth, technical dive on how to how to enabled advanced connectivity for your Niagara applications by using the features of the JSON Toolkit.

Learn more about how you can utilize the JSON Toolkit to enhance your Niagara applications by enabling a new level of connectivity. A Q&A sessions follows.
