Connecting Security to Your Building Ecosystem
With Niagara Enterprise Security, you can seamlessly integrate access control, identity, video surveillance, intrusion and visitor management systems with other building automation services such as lighting, HVAC and energy management - all using powerful Niagara 4 capabilities.
Niagara Enterprise Security features include advanced threat-level management, integrated photo ID, LDAP database integration, and ISOM database API with Easy Lobby integration.
Alarm and activity monitoring
Comprehensive system-wide event viewer provides instant feedback on alarms, card access traffic, system administration changes and status updates on system arm/disarm. Search using a standard list of predefined reports, or generate custom reports using powerful ad hoc reporting capabilities. Alarm console provides simultaneous viewing of both live and recorded video associated with the alarm event.
Extensive access zone management
In addition to common access control functions, Niagara Enterprise Security includes comprehensive rule-based access control through access zone management. The system provides one-click global lockdown, as well as supervisor rule enforcement, thereby restricting access to areas unless appropriate supervisory staff is present.
Powerful integration
Niagara Enterprise Security's comprehensive, integrated toolset enables non-programmers to extend the product’s capabilities. Using the toolset, integrators can craft building automation, energy management, lighting control and a wide range of custom solutions tailored to the end user’s needs - all while working in a powerful drag-and-drop, graphical programming environment.
Niagara Enterprise Security licensing is consistent with all Niagara 4 licensing. Just use the same JACE® 8000 and Supervisor parts you use for building automation applications and add security licensing. Niagara Enterprise Security devices are excluded from global capacity licensing. Licensing for video drivers accommodates the high camera density typical of current video surveillance systems.
