Layers Flyer
Layers provides a needed update to how floors plan views are used in Niagara. With layers, creating responsive, user-friendly and feature rich floor plan views is easy. Layers isn’t a fancy 3D rendering of a floor plan, rather it’s the technology that sits on top of that render. This technology enables multiple layers of information to be overlaid, filtered, adjusted and analyzed in a responsive HTML environment.

Overview
Layers will minimize the hard work of linking and overlaying data to a floor plan. Using templated data, the layers software can easily deploy data across all zones using an intuitive CSV file import mechanism. Layers makes it easy to visualize the floor through a number of viewpoints such as temperature, relative humidity, zoning, and space utilization.

Layers is a tool, built on Niagara 4, that allows users to quickly and easily display multiple levels of data for any given zone in a floor plan layout. Layers allows users to easily create responsive, user-friendly, and feature-rich floor plan user interfaces.
At a click of a button, data for a zone can be overlaid, visualized, and adjusted. The user can display as much, or as little data as desired. Layer by layer information includes: temperature, temperature deviation, relative humidity, pressure, zoning, air-handler mapping, and more.
Using templates, Layers allows the system integrator to easily deploy data across all zones using an intuitive CSV file export/import mechanism. Switching between these viewpoints enhances the usefulness of a floor plan view and brings more value to the overall BAS experience. Layers minimizes the work related to linking and overlaying data to a floor plan.

Question: How does it work?
After collecting the floor plan renders, the Layers Service is dragged into a Niagara station. Using the Configuration Tool, Sites are built and dragged into existing graphics.
Question: Are the floor plan images included?
The actual image renders are not part of the of the software tool. Contact us for more information on getting floor plan images.
Question: Is Layers available without Amplify?
Layers is one of multiple tools that comes in the Amplify toolkit. It cannot be purchased separately.
