This driver enables serial port services for Niagara 4 Supervisor, allowing direct integration of serial devices — now with full BACnet MS/TP support.
The unified driver runs on Windows (32/64-bit) and Linux (32/64-bit), and is prepared for macOS 64-bit when officially supported by Tridium. It uses native platform serial port naming on Linux and macOS instead of generic COM labels, eliminating guesswork and simplifying configuration and deployment.
Please note: modules that utilize the serial port, such as Modbus or BACnet MS/TP, require separate licensing from Tridium.
