Details

Integrate supported SIO hardware with Niagara 4 Enterprise Security using Niagara accessDriver components. Discovery scans bus addresses 0-31 with Mercury and Honeywell dialects. Door/reader layouts create points without separate point discovery. Supports reader LED/beeper control and text-display outputs where the connected hardware supports them. Tested hardware: Mercury MR-50, Mercury MT52 and Honeywell PW6K1R2. Requires suitable RS-485 interface, correctly powered/addressed hardware, Niagara 4 Enterprise Security and appropriate platform/application licenses. Capacity depends on bus addressing, ports, station resources and qualified hardware. This device driver is not a complete access-control database. Credential-event routing, multi-reader layouts and commissioning require project validation. Niagara 5 integration through Suphammer's new access-control framework is under development and not included in the current version.
