Details

Add four controls through the Niagara point manager: Boolean Power, 0-100% Brightness, RGB Color strings such as #12AB34, and Effect IDs from the device. Power and Brightness apply to the whole device; Color and Effect target its configured main segment. Uses the local WLED API and polls for current device status. Niagara priorities and overrides apply; points can be monitoring-only by setting Writable to false. Includes signed runtime/Help modules, PDF guide, installation, firewall and troubleshooting guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Question: Which segment do Color and Effect control? A: The device's configured main segment. Power and Brightness apply to the whole device.

Question: Why is brightness visible when power is off? A: WLED retains configured brightness. Power-on restores a remembered positive level. Zero brightness turns power off; a positive value turns it on.

Question: Can points be monitoring-only? A: Yes. Set proxy Writable to false. When writing is enabled, normal Niagara priorities and overrides apply.

Question: Is a cloud service needed? A: No cloud service is used for routine control. The station communicates with the local WLED API and verifies the installed license locally.

Question: How is licensing handled? A: One perpetual license per Niagara Host ID. Activate at https://www.suphammer.net/activate using purchase email, activation code and Host ID.
