The TridiumTalk - Specifier Series has been developed to provide relevant information to our specifier community – engineers, designers, consultants and other professionals involved in developing specifications for building controls systems. We frequently get requests for help in writing specifications for Niagara, and so this series was developed to address that need.

The first webinar provided an “introduction” to Niagara for those who want to learn what the Niagara Framework® is, and why it provides benefits to  specifiers, and then move on to more in-depth sessions aimed at writing advanced specifications, cyber security considerations, analytics and OT network design.

Sessions are presented mostly by Tridium employees and respected industry professionals who will share their real-world experience as well. All are welcome to join these sessions but the content is tailored for the North America specifier community.

Crafting Powerful Niagara Specifications

- Ed Merwin, Director of Strategic Business, Tridium

This session will show how Niagara enables you to write a modern and effective specification beyond the basic boilerplate Div 25 outline. It is more important than ever to incorporate elements such as cyber security, histories, alarms and escalations and more into your building control system design. Ed will highlight the design of the new Honeywell headquarters in Charlotte, NC and how the “Niagara Smart Building Integration Matrix” helped align the various parties (Divisions 23, 25, 26, 28, DDC and Network contractors) with the Owner and their IT department.
