ABOUT QA GRAPHICS

QA Graphics builds BAS graphics, symbol libraries and Niagara 4 modules for system integrators, controls contractors and building owners. We opened in Ankeny, Iowa in 2006 with three employees and a single focus on building automation graphics. Today we support integrators across North America on Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls and Schneider Electric platforms, and we have delivered more than 15,000 2D and 3D floor plans for over 400 integrators, MEP firms and property managers.

We work with Niagara users in two ways.

Outsourced graphics. Our team builds complete Niagara 4 graphics packages: site navigation, 2D and 3D floor plans, equipment graphics and point mapping. We work on a live station over VPN or offline from a station backup, on every version of Niagara 4 including Reflow. Integrators hand us the visual layer and keep their technicians on programming and commissioning, which shortens delivery and keeps graphics consistent from job to job.

Drop-in tools. We sell modules and libraries that Niagara integrators install and use themselves:

• QAGCharts adds 18 chart types and 4 live tables to Px pages

• QAGSiteMap puts a portfolio of buildings on a live status map

• QAGFoxhound audits stations and produces commissioning reports

• The v5, Vector and 3D Room symbol libraries replace Niagara's built-in symbols with more realistic equipment and room graphics

Symbol libraries are a one-time purchase licensed to the buying company, so they can be reused on every project with no recurring fees.

All work is done in-house in Ankeny by mechanical engineers, architects, drafters, 3D designers and developers. Nothing is sent overseas. Most quotes are returned within one business day, large campuses within two to three, and every project runs through a dedicated project manager.

Our v5 Symbol Library Tridium module received a Niagara Innovator of the Year Honorable Mention at Niagara Summit 2018. Our symbol libraries have also been recognized in Consulting-Specifying Engineer's Product of the Year program and the FacilitiesNet Vision Awards.
